The Mother Of All Highlighters: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop

In case you've been living under the rock, I'm sure you're heard of the Champagne Pop highlighter from Becca Cosmetics with their collaboration with Jaclyn hill. I've heard of this highlighter for a while now but I've only bought it during the Sephora Black Card 20% off sale two weeks back. So yes, I'm a bit late to jump on this bandwagon.

What I can tell you is that yes, it is seriously the best highlighter that I've ever used. The texture of the product is buttery smooth and it is housed in a tin and sturdy plastic container. The pigmentation on this is insane and its very easily blendable to the skin, I usually use my Real Techniques contouring brush to apply this product.

This product retails for MYR 195 online and in stores.

Sneak Peak: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Collection

These gorgeous beauties came and sold out in a whiff. This past week, Becca released their full collection of the Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop collection.

The collection includes a limited edition face palette (3 blushers and 2 highlighters, including the iconic Champage Pop), a limited edition eyeshadow palette and the Champagne Pop in 3 forms: liquid, pressed and mousse).

I wonder if it would ever reach Malaysian shores and if they do as I've got my sights set on the limited edition face palette. Meanwhile I've got the Champage Pop highlighter over the weekend and I can't wait to review It next.

Edit (8th June 2016): The eyeshadow will no longer be available as there were some quality control problems and Jaclyn Hill and Becca Cosmetics have mutually agreed to pull the products off the shelves.

All about the face: My latest haul

In case any of you are still oblivious, Sephora Malaysia is having their black card 20% off sale and if you've seen my previous post, you'd also realised that I've bought nothing from my wish list - instead I bought these products:

It's supposed to be the oil free version of the Poreless Primer, to smooth out wrinkles and fill pores.
Verdict - it does its job as a primer and I like that it's transparent but it's not mind blowing wow

Stila Sheer Colour Tinted Moisturiser (not available online in Malaysia but get more info here)
I initially wanted to get the 3CE Back to Baby BB cream but after swatching both this and the one from 3CE, I went with this instead. It gives a medium coverage and it blends nicely into the skin

This one has a very silky texture, it lasts on my skin but again I'm kind of indifferent to this as well

Makeup Forever Mist and Fix (currently sold out)
Besides being very difficult to spray, it's actually pretty good but would I repurchase this? No. I prefer the UD All Nighter spray.

Bliss Lid + Lash Wash Makeup Remover (not available online in Malaysia, get more info here)
To say that i love this is an understatement. Unlike most makeup removers which are very watery and oily, this one actually feels more like a cleanser and is very soothing.

Total price of haul after the 20% sale: MYR 280 (USD 70)
The sale last through this Sunday, 29th May 2016, online and in stores.

Sephora Malaysia Black Card Sale

It's funny how the mind and the universe works, I was just making some items on my wish list to buy when the Sephora 20% sale comes on and guess what, when I opened my Facebook today, the first thing that I saw was that Sephora is having the sale this weekend, yay!

Some items that I am considering buying are:

Face
3CE Back to Baby BB Cream, 3CE Shimmer Stick, either a Zoeva or Tarte blush palette, and a makeup base but I haven't decided which brand to get yet

Eyes
Naked 1 palette, Too Faced Chocolate Bar, Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons

Lips
So far nothing yet, maybe I would try the new Tarte matte lip creams, I'm so curious to try matte products but I've got severely chapped lips so I'm still slightly sceptical

Skincare
Glamglow's Supermud

And that's pretty much it and maybe just a bottle of nail polish or so. I'm still narrowing down my list but I'm guessing the list will expand once I step into Sephora but we'll see.

I'm very tempted to get the Hourglass lighting ambient palette but their products are severely overpriced in Malaysia. What will you be getting?
